About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support to families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help cover child care costs, which may include registration fees.
Application Method: Families can apply through online platforms, via phone, or by visiting a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office in person.
Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay varies based on the family's size and income.
