Center For Community Counseling
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative offers mental health services for adults for a duration of up to one year, staffed by community volunteer professionals and graduate students at the master's level. It includes individual counseling aimed at addressing emotional issues, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and adjustment difficulties. Occasionally, short-term counseling is available for individuals affected by natural disasters. The program also hosts various in-person and online support groups throughout the year, which are accessible to all community members, such as the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group, Men's Mentoring Circle, and Anxiety and Depression groups.
Intake Procedure: To begin, call for an appointment; a phone screening is necessary. For support groups, please call or check the website for the latest class schedule and registration information.
Travel/Location: Accessible via LTD Bus 67 from downtown.
Fees: Counseling services operate on a sliding fee scale ranging from $5 to $40, with the same scale applying to group sessions.
