About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support for families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help with child care costs, which also includes registration fees.
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.
Travel/Location: Accessible through LTD bus lines 12, 66, and 67.
Fees: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by family size and income.
