About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) offers support to families engaged in work, education, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) by helping cover child care expenses, including registration fees.

Application Process: Families can apply through online platforms, via phone, or by visiting a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income level.
