About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) supports families who are employed, enrolled in school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) by helping them afford child care expenses, which also includes registration fees.

Application Process: You can apply through the online portal, via phone, or by visiting a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Transportation/Location: The service is accessible via LTD Route #11.

Cost: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income.
