About this resource
The Homeless Education and Literacy Project (HELP) is aimed at supporting homeless students in addressing obstacles that hinder their school attendance and academic performance. There are four HELP Centers located throughout Lincoln County—north, south, east, and west—that offer resources and educational initiatives for students and their families. These centers provide essential needs and enrichment programs that enhance literacy and educational opportunities.

Who can use this
- Students without a stable and adequate nighttime residence are eligible, with the HELP Advocate assessing their situation. Acceptable living conditions may include emergency shelters, motels, vehicles, parks, campgrounds, abandoned buildings, unsuitable housing, or shared accommodations due to financial difficulties. Additionally, youth who are homeless or have run away are also considered eligible.
