About this resource
Head Start services support school readiness by fostering the social and cognitive growth of children in a classroom environment and delivering educational, health, nutritional, social, and various other services to both children and their families. A strong emphasis is placed on parental involvement, with offerings such as goal setting and support, parenting classes, and networking opportunities for parents.

Who can use this
- Families with children aged 3-5 are eligible, particularly those with incomes at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Additionally, children in foster care, homeless children, and those from families receiving public assistance are eligible regardless of income. Families with higher incomes and specific needs may qualify, but those with greater needs are given priority.
