About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) supports families who are employed, enrolled in school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) in managing child care costs, which also encompass registration fees.

Application Method: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Cost Sharing: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income.
