Family Tree Relief Nursery
Community Resource
About this resource
Relief Nurseries assist families with young children who are under considerable stress. Family Tree Relief Nursery specifically aids high-risk families by providing extensive support via tailored case management. Factors that contribute to risk include poverty, elevated stress levels, depression, a history of mental health issues, lack of reliable transportation, single parenthood, criminal records, being an adult victim of child abuse, substance abuse history, unemployment, low self-worth, limited educational background, anger management problems, homelessness, and social isolation. The services offered encompass parenting education, home visit support, group activities, and resource referrals. Children engage in therapeutic classrooms that maintain low adult-to-child ratios, while families benefit from home visits aimed at fostering healthy parenting and child development. Intake Procedure: Call for further details. Travel/Location: From Corvallis on Highway 20, take the exit onto SW 9th Avenue, turn left onto the ramp for Lebanon/Eugene/Salem, merge onto US 20 E/Pacific Boulevard SE, and turn right after Starbucks (on the left). The facility is located on the left side, just after the Boys and Girls Club on Hill. Fees: None.
