About this resource
This initiative delivers a temporary housing intervention for low-income veterans and their families who are either homeless or at high risk of becoming homeless. Eligible participants may receive housing assistance through case management, which could include support for move-in or rental costs, eviction prevention, benefits assistance, employment and education resources, legal help regarding housing issues, and other related expenses that promote stable housing. Participants must be open to collaborating with a caseworker and may need to maintain sobriety from alcohol and drugs. The availability of assistance is contingent upon funding.

Travel/Location: The program is situated at the base of St. Alphonsus Medical Center, opposite Lion's Park, and adjacent to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce building.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants include veterans and their families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, earning at or below 50% of the Area Median Income, with any discharge status except "Dishonorable," and the veteran must reside in the household.
