About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) supports families who are employed, pursuing education, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) in covering child care costs, including registration fees.

Application Process: You can apply online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self-Sufficiency Branch Office. For further details and to access the income chart, please visit the website.

Fees: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by family size and income.
