About this resource
The Program Information Coordinator (PIC) assists families looking into foster care or adoption by providing essential information. The staff supports families through the certification and home study processes associated with these programs. Additionally, foster parents receive continuous training to uphold their certification and receive necessary support.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for information. The certification process includes meetings, home visits, reference checks, and training requirements.
Fees: There are no fees for foster parents who receive reimbursement; however, those interested in adoption should contact the PIC for details on applicable fees.
Who can use this
- To become foster parents, individuals must be at least 21 years old and complete the required training and application.
