About this resource
The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) offers support for survivors of domestic violence through Self-Sufficiency programs, which involve assessing eligibility for temporary assistance grants and SNAP benefits. In emergency situations, grants can often be issued on the same day.
Intake Procedure: Contact for information or services; walk-ins are not accepted.

Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Individuals escaping domestic violence or intimate partner violence, or those at risk due to such threats, may qualify, provided they meet specific criteria including being a pregnant woman or a caregiver for a minor child, residing in Oregon, and meeting income requirements.
