About this resource
This initiative provides temporary overnight accommodation, two meals daily, and hygiene facilities for up to 30 homeless and street-dependent youth who are working towards improving their circumstances. Participants can also receive clothing, medical care, and job training assistance. In cases of severe weather declared by the city, an additional 5 beds will be made available.
Intake Process: Individuals can either call the Access Center directly or receive a referral from a community organization. Referrals are typically made by agencies like Outside In, New Avenues for Youth, Native American Youth and Family Center, and Janus Access Center.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Youth aged 16-24 who are homeless must collaborate with a case manager to secure ongoing access to shelter.
