It can also send a mobile team or arrange for transportation to a care facility, in addition to providing referrals to mental health and addiction treatment services. Moreover, it acts as the initial point of access to Multnomah Behavioral Health Services, which caters to mental health and substance use disorder needs for Oregon Health Plan members in Multnomah County associated with Health Share of Oregon CCO.
Intake Procedure: To receive crisis counseling or information and referrals regarding behavioral health services, individuals should call. Oregon Health Plan members whose mental health insurance is provided by Multnomah Behavioral Health can visit any of the listed provider agencies found on the county website and in the member handbook. Those needing assistance in selecting a provider agency or who have not received a member handbook can contact Multnomah Behavioral Health Member Services for a referral.
