About this resource
This public health initiative focuses on enhancing health outcomes and fostering lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes, along with additional services such as breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Fees: There are no costs associated with the program.
Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a prerequisite), be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old (fathers, foster parents, and guardians can apply for eligible children), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and demonstrate a nutritional risk assessed during the appointment.
