About this resource
This program offers support for electric and gas bills, in addition to heating fuels such as oil, wood, and propane. However, appointment slots are limited.
Intake Procedure: To find out about available appointments, call the energy assistance hotline. When slots are open, you can request an appointment via the automated phone system. If no appointments are currently available, callers should try again the following day. Please note that walk-ins are not permitted.
Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet Bus 75.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- To qualify, household income must be at or below 60% of the Median Family Income.
Documents you may need
- -ID cards for household members age 18 and older -Social security cards -Income within the last 30 days (if paid on the day of intake bring check; no bank statements accepted) -If receiving SSD or SSI, bring Social Security Administration award letter -Most recent utility bill in the name of a household member
