About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides financial assistance for child care to families who are employed, enrolled in school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), which includes covering registration fees.

Application Process: You can apply via the internet, over the phone, or by visiting a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office in person.

Cost Sharing: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families will still need to contribute towards child care expenses through a copayment. The amount of this copayment is determined by the family's size and income level.
