About this resource
The initiative involves recruiting, screening, training, and supporting adult volunteers who serve as mentors for children and teenagers. These mentors provide friendship and assistance aimed at improving the youths' academic success and decreasing their chances of resorting to drugs or violence for conflict resolution. Mentors are paired with young individuals within their local communities.
