About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support for families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help cover child care expenses, including registration fees.
Application Process: You can apply online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self-Sufficiency Branch Office.
Location: The office is located near the Hawthorn Farm MAX Station.
Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copayment amount is determined by the family's size and income.
