About this resource

This initiative provides weatherization services designed to assist households in decreasing their utility costs. It includes in-home assessments by an educator or auditor who offers advice on energy efficiency, efficient lighting options, and water conservation devices. Eligible households may receive extensive weatherization services, which start with an energy audit to identify potential energy-saving improvements. Following this, private contractors implement the suggested cost-effective solutions, which can involve insulation for ceilings, floors, or walls; durable EPDM roofing; sealing of ducts; installation of water heaters; heating systems; exhaust fans; or replacements of windows and refrigerators with energy-efficient models.

Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for screening and application or can download an application from the website. Initial wait times for the first visit may differ based on the heating source, but it could take 4-6 weeks.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus line 57.

Fees: There are no fees associated with the services.
