About this resource

This initiative provides a temporary housing intervention for low-income veterans and their families who are either homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Eligible individuals can receive housing support through case management. Assistance may encompass move-in or rental aid, eviction prevention, support for benefits, employment and educational services, legal assistance concerning housing issues, and other related expenses that promote stable housing. Participants must be open to collaborating with a caseworker and may need to maintain sobriety. Availability of assistance is contingent upon funding.

Fees: No charges apply.

Who can use this

  • Veterans and their families facing homelessness or imminent risk, with an income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income and a discharge status other than 'Dishonorable,' are eligible, provided the veteran resides in the household.
