About this resource
Employment-related daycare (ERDC) assists working families with childcare expenses, including subsidy fees. This means families may pay part of the cost, which is referred to as a copay. ERDC collaborates with partners to help families find quality childcare options.
Who can use this
- This program is available to families who: -Reside in Oregon -Are employed, enrolled in school, or receiving TANF. -In a two-parent household, both parents must be employed or in school, excluding those receiving TANF. -There are exceptions for two-parent families where one parent is unable to provide care due to medical or mental health issues, or if state-required supervised contact is necessary -Require childcare to maintain employment, attend school, or engage in family well-being activities -Have a child who is: -Under 13 years old needing care, or -Aged 13 to 17 requiring care due to special circumstances -Meet income thresholds - Initial income limits are set at 200% FPL, with ongoing and exit limits at 250% FPL.
