About this resource
This public health initiative seeks to enhance health outcomes and shape lifelong nutrition and health habits for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes, along with additional services such as breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and guardians can apply for eligible children. -Have a household income below 185% of the federal poverty level (FPL). Those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk (to be evaluated during the appointment)
