About this resource
This walk-in center provides essential services, including referrals, food, clothing, durable medical equipment (DME), basic camping necessities, and potable water for individuals experiencing homelessness or those with very low income. The center conducts outreach to both veterans and non-veterans residing in homeless encampments, offering them potable water, food, clothing, phone and fax services, and gas vouchers (available once a year). Additionally, it assists veterans in obtaining DD214 documents and connects them to relevant veteran services.
Intake Procedure: Walk-ins are welcome, but calling ahead is advised.
Fees: There are no charges for services.
Who can use this
- Homeless veterans or those at immediate risk of homelessness who require screening for eligibility in various programs and services related to housing, medical care, employment, and more. Street outreach is available for both veteran and non-veteran homeless and low-income individuals and families.
