About this resource

Flexible Services, referred to as "flex funds," are supplementary non-covered offerings provided by Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) in conjunction with the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits. These services aim to enhance care delivery and improve the overall health and well-being of members. Eligibility for these services is determined by the CCO and can include a variety of supports such as: -Housing assistance (like rent and utility help, housing programs for women and children) -Temporary motel accommodations for individuals transitioning from hospitals, facing severe weather, or fleeing domestic violence -Electronics including cellphones and computers -Educational resources and classes -Family and home support items (e.g., child health and safety products, parenting programs) -Gym memberships and fitness classes/equipment -Health and substance use prevention services. All flexible services are evaluated individually by the CCO and are not intended for emergency situations. While CCOs are not mandated to provide these services, members can voice complaints if a service is denied, as denials cannot be appealed.

Intake Procedure: Contact or check the website for further details.
