To initiate assistance, it's recommended to call during office hours and, if feasible, set an appointment with a caseworker. After a disaster, Red Cross emergency aid is accessible 24/7 by following the appropriate options during the phone call for after-hours support. There are no fees for these services.

- This service is aimed at individuals impacted by natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and fires who cannot fulfill their urgent needs with their own means. Assistance is not provided for non-disaster-related requests such as transportation, utilities, or rent.
