About this resource
Offers civil legal assistance and representation for young individuals aged 12-24 who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Referral Process: To refer someone for legal assistance, complete LCYC's referral form available at lcycwa.org/needhelp.
Cost: There are no fees for these services.
Who can use this
- Young individuals aged 12-24 may qualify for complimentary legal services if they are facing homelessness or unstable housing situations, which can include couch surfing, difficulty accessing emergency shelters, temporarily staying with friends or family, being at risk of eviction, or feeling unsafe at home. Check lcycwa.org/yhp for information on the counties in Washington served by LCYC, as age eligibility may differ by county.
