About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides financial assistance for child care to families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), which includes support for registration costs.
Application Process: Interested individuals can apply through the internet, via telephone, or by visiting a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office in person.
Cost Structure: As a subsidy initiative, ERDC requires many families to contribute a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The amount of the copay is determined by the size of the family and their income level.
