About this resource

This program offers support for both overdue rent and future rent payments for up to one month. It covers rental fees and security deposits, which may encompass pet fees, legal expenses related to housing, partial payments to alleviate housing debt, and application fees. Additionally, it provides utility assistance for services such as electricity, gas, water, and sewage (paid directly to the landlord or utility provider), along with repair and damage costs up to $2,500. However, assistance is contingent on available funding and is limited to one instance per household during the Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) biennium cycle (July 2025-June 2027).
