About this resource
This initiative provides an extensive array of psychosocial services and counseling designed to facilitate a smooth transition from military to civilian life. The offerings include both individual and group counseling tailored for veterans, active service members, and their families; family counseling focused on military-related challenges; bereavement counseling for those who have lost a loved one during active duty; as well as counseling and referrals for military sexual trauma. Additionally, outreach and educational programs, such as the Post-Deployment Health Reassessment Program, are available. The program also conducts substance abuse assessments and referrals, employment assessments and referrals, guidance on Veterans Benefits Administration benefits, and screenings for medical concerns like Traumatic Brain Injury and depression.
