About this resource
The HEAT Program offers continuous energy assistance and crisis support for qualifying low-income households in Utah. This initiative operates annually from November through April. For a limited duration, those eligible for rent and utility payment aid may also be able to receive assistance for water and/or cooling payments.
Who can use this
- Household income must not exceed 150% of the federal poverty level, and the applicant must be responsible for utility payments. The household must cover energy costs and include at least one US citizen or legal permanent resident.
Documents you may need
- Photo ID — Valid Photo ID for primary applicant.; Social Security Card — Valid Social Security Cards for everyone in the household.; Income Verification — Proof of Income of all household members.; Form application completed.
