The Relocation Assistance Fund for Tenants (RAFT) offers financial assistance to low-income renters in Salt Lake City facing displacement due to housing demolition, significant renovations, changes in housing use (such as an owner moving in or converting to business use), or the end of income or rent restrictions on their housing.
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online at: https://slc.gov/can/renters
Who can use this
- Applicants must reside in Salt Lake City, earn 80% or less of the area's median income, and need to relocate due to renovations, demolition, property sale by the landlord, or other changes in use.
