About this resource
The Technology Dependent Waiver allows technology-dependent individuals the option of community living instead of being placed in a Medicaid nursing facility. The services provided by the waiver support individuals in staying at home or in other community settings. The program is designed to assist around 142 individuals. Those who qualify will be added to a waitlist, and enrollment will occur as spots open up, prioritizing applicants based on their confirmed acuity scores.

Who can use this
- Eligible individuals must be under 21 years old at the time of admission, meet nursing facility care criteria, satisfy Medicaid financial requirements based on income and assets, have at least one trained caregiver, and require skilled nursing or rehabilitative services at least five days a week due to specific medical dependencies.
