Tailored assistance is provided for individuals residing in apartments and group homes that accommodate between one and eight residents. These programs emphasize the cultivation of crucial life skills such as cooking, personal grooming, financial management, shopping, home upkeep, and engagement in community activities through sports, recreational opportunities, transportation training, cultural events, and ongoing education.
Who can use this
- A documented disability is required; eligibility is determined by criteria set by the Division of Services for Adults with Disabilities (DSPD). TURN serves individuals referred to and funded by DSPD, while families or clients interested in private payment for support services can reach out to the office for details.
