About this resource
This initiative provides families with a secure, stable, and affordable living environment along with supportive services for a maximum of three years. Currently, there is a waitlist for the program. A family member must have a documented history of drug or alcohol addiction and must have been sober for a minimum of nine months.
Intake Process: Interested individuals can either call for a phone screening or visit the website for more information.
Costs: The tenant's portion of the rent will start at $100 plus utilities, with the actual share calculated to ensure that combined rent and utilities do not exceed 30% of the participant's adjusted household income.
Who can use this
- This program is designed for low-income families facing challenges in securing stable housing due to factors beyond income, such as prior criminal activities linked to substance addiction, requiring at least nine months of sobriety and an income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income.
