Housing Authority Of Grant County
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides essential support to clients who qualify for HEN, including items like toiletries, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry and dish soap, as well as bus passes. If funding is available, financial help may cover rent, utilities, and move-in costs. Clients must first apply through DSHS.
Intake Procedure: Reach out via phone or visit in person.
Fees: There are no fees associated.
Who can use this
- Only clients confirmed by DSHS as eligible for HEN can receive assistance, with a focus on those who are unsheltered. The Housing Authority of Grant County will check eligibility and evaluate the risk of homelessness to determine if financial support can be provided, though it is not assured. Criteria for the Housing and Essential Needs Grant Funds include being homeless, facing substantial risk of eviction, and other significant factors such as overcrowded living conditions or recent discharge from care facilities.
