About this resource
This initiative aids individuals receiving DSHS public assistance in securing a Washington State ID card at a discounted rate from the Department of Licensing. DSHS case workers will complete a form that clients can present to DOL to obtain the card for just $5.

Who can use this
- Eligible participants include anyone receiving public assistance from DSHS, such as financial and food assistance. Those under 25 without a permanent address do not require a DSHS letter and can confirm their eligibility when obtaining the ID at the licensing office.
