About this resource
This service offers and organizes non-emergency transportation to Medicaid-covered services specifically for residents of King County; it is important to call ahead for reservations, bus passes, or reimbursement.
Intake Process: Reservations must be made at least two business days prior. Individuals who can utilize buses should make their calls one week in advance. The phone queue for King County may occasionally be full; if your call doesn't connect, please try again later. The optimal times to call are Wednesday to Friday, avoiding the hours between noon and 1pm, and not the day following a holiday. Service is available on holidays as well. Callers can also reach out slightly before 8am to enter the queue, and they may call up to 14 days before their scheduled appointment. The website can be visited to check ride status, notify Hopelink of a late ride, cancel a trip, or provide feedback. During the application process, the following details must be provided: Provider One Identification Card Number, date of birth, current street and mailing addresses, telephone or message number, current transportation resources, appointment date and time, doctor’s name and phone number, and the name of the office or clinic, along with any special considerations or mobility needs.
Fees: Covered by WA Apple Health (Medicaid).
