About this resource
This initiative aids individuals receiving DSHS public assistance in obtaining a Washington State ID card at a discounted rate from the Department of Licensing. DSHS case workers will complete a form that clients can present at DOL to secure a card for just $5.

Fees: ID Card: $5.
Who can use this
- Individuals receiving public assistance from DSHS, including both financial and food assistance, are eligible. Those under 25 without a permanent address do not require a DSHS letter and can confirm their eligibility when obtaining their ID at the licensing office.
