Licensed to issue pet licenses for King County residents. Discounts are available for seniors and individuals with disabilities, and service animal licenses are issued at no cost.
Application Process: Complete the application online or go to a licensing office, which includes city facilities.
Fees: Annual licensing fees are $60 for unaltered dogs/cats, $30 for altered dogs/cats, $15 for seniors/disabled individuals, and $0 for qualified low-income residents. Service animals are licensed for free.
Who can use this
- Pet licenses have no restrictions, but Kirkland requires licenses for all dogs and cats aged 12 weeks or older. Pets must be vaccinated against rabies, and discounts are available for seniors, disabled individuals, and low-income residents, provided certain conditions are met.
