About this resource

This initiative runs a secure parking program featuring 15 spaces designated for adult men and couples without minor children who are living in their vehicles. Pets are permitted. To apply, individuals should call the program; a waitlist is in effect.

Intake Procedure: Applicants must visit in person during designated hours to complete an application and provide a copy of their ID for a background check. Once the background check is successfully completed, the client will be contacted for an interview, which may take up to 72 hours. A waitlist is maintained. The Safe Parking program and additional resources for those facing homelessness can be accessed at the East (back) entrance of the church, located a quarter mile from Willows Road NE.

Fees: There are no charges.

Who can use this

Eligible participants include single men and couples without minor children, with background checks conducted; those with criminal records may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. RVs and oversized vehicles are not permitted, and vehicles must be operational. Compliance with drug/alcohol policies and program rules is required. Pets are allowed but must be licensed as guiding companions to enter the church building, and they must be kept on a leash on the property.
