This program gathers blood from volunteer donors for use in Pacific Northwest hospitals. Donations typically take less than an hour and involve a brief health assessment that checks blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and iron levels.
Intake Procedure: Donors can call or schedule an appointment online. Those who arrive without an appointment will need to wait until all scheduled donors have been attended to.
Fees: There are no charges for donors.
Who can use this
- To donate, individuals must weigh at least 110 lbs., be 18 years or older, and pass donor screening. Those aged 16 and 17 can donate with parental consent. Whole blood can be donated every 56 days, up to six times annually.
