This program provides a discount on Seattle Public Utility bills for households that meet low-income criteria.
Application Process: Interested individuals can apply by calling or visiting the website.
Cost: There are no fees associated with the application.
Who can use this
- Customers of Seattle City Light and/or Seattle Public Utilities who earn at or below 70% of the State Median Income are eligible, regardless of where they live. The account must be registered under the name of the primary applicant. Eligibility is determined based on the total household income from the month preceding the application. Households that qualify as low-income may still receive assistance through the voucher program even if their landlord covers all utility expenses, provided the landlord agrees to participate.
