Denny International Middle School By Neighborcare Health

Community Resource

Serves: Seattle, King County

About this resource

This service provides essential health care, encompassing treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, family planning, physical exams, and health education, specifically for students enrolled at the clinic school.

Intake Process: To access most services, individuals must fill out a registration form. According to state and federal regulations, minors can consent to family planning, mental health, and substance abuse services independently. Although parental consent and registration are highly recommended for these services, they are not mandatory. For other services, a parent consent form and registration are required.

Costs: There are no fees for many services, and WA Apple Health (Medicaid) is accepted for certain offerings. Some private insurance plans are also recognized.

Who can use this

  • Eligibility is limited to students from the clinic's school or its partner institutions, prioritizing uninsured and underinsured adolescents, while also catering to those with insurance who seek confidential care; parental consent is not needed for family planning services under Washington state law.
