This initiative provides financial aid to low-income families, immigrants, refugees, pregnant women, and individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled. The available programs include TANF/WorkFirst, AREN, Diversion Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and ABD.

Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO). Once an online or paper application is submitted, DSHS will send a notification detailing the interview process. Clients requiring urgent financial help should consult their case manager. Additionally, the phone service features a callback option (virtual hold) allowing callers to enter their number and receive a return call when it's their turn. Callers may interact with multiple representatives, starting with a navigator who will assess the call to determine the appropriate assistance required.
