Rainier Beach Teen Health Center
Community Resource
About this resource
Offers essential health services such as treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, family planning, physical examinations, and health education, exclusively for students at the clinic school.
Intake Process: To access most services, fill out a registration form. According to state and federal regulations, minors can consent to family planning, mental health, and substance use services independently. While parental consent and registration are highly recommended for these services, they are mandatory for other types of care.
Costs: No fees for services; WA Apple Health (Medicaid) is accepted for some treatments, and select private insurance plans are also recognized.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is limited to students at the clinic's school or its affiliated institutions, primarily targeting uninsured and underinsured adolescents, while also catering to those with insurance seeking confidential care. Washington law allows minors to consent to family planning services without parental approval.
