About this resource
The organization runs self-managed overnight shelter locations across Seattle, catering to both men and women.
Intake Process: Individuals must apply in person, with intake screenings occurring at the SHARE office located in the Josephinum Building. The entrance is accessible from the alley between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. A monitor is present during intake hours to guide applicants to the building's entry. Applicants can still complete the intake process if they arrive no more than 25 minutes late. Note that screenings for certain women's shelter programs are conducted at different sites and times; please refer to the website calendar for specific intake schedules and locations.
Cost: There are no fees associated.
Who can use this
- Individuals of all genders who are homeless, aged 18 and over, are eligible, provided they are sober and willing to engage in a self-managed shelter program. Those with a sex offense conviction are ineligible, though others with criminal records may apply. Service animals with proper documentation are permitted, while undocumented pets may be accepted at the discretion of the individual shelter.
