About this resource
The program provides shelter for a maximum of 30 days for youth aged 12-17 and those who have experienced sexual exploitation. Notification of the guardian is necessary within eight hours of entry. It also offers counseling and support services. Youth can refer themselves but must undergo a phone screening.
Intake Procedure: Interested youth should call to begin the screening process. They may self-refer or be referred by a counselor or caseworker. A parent or guardian must be notified within eight hours of the youth's admission, and consent for participation in the program must be secured within 72 hours. If the youth is uncomfortable with parental notification, Child Protective Services (CPS) will be contacted to obtain consent if needed.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
