About this resource
The program provides support to veterans for essentials such as food, shelter, utilities, eviction prevention, job-related expenses, move-in costs, medical needs, gas, and prescriptions. There are satellite offices distributed throughout King County.
Intake Procedure: New clients should visit in person, and services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Returning clients within a 6-month period are advised to call and set up an appointment with a case manager. If more than 6 months have passed, clients must come in person. Assistance is available once every 12 months.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is open to veterans, service members, and their families (including widows and widowers) residing in King County, with financial assistance based on income and military service.
